This ongoing project is being photographed on different campsites in the south of Europe at night. The photographer and her family love to spend their holidays camping and this is where she feels relaxed and connected to nature.
The images focus on the atmosphere after dark: soft lights, tents and caravans, and the spaces between them. Sounds of cicadas, the sea, distant conversations, laughter, and children’s voices shape the experience of the night. On a campsite, private moments become more visible, as everyday family life unfolds in a shared, open space. The series captures these quiet, intimate moments and the way darkness subtly transforms the familiar.
