Rotraud Priesner is an Austrian photographer and teacher. She completed her studies at the University of Fine Arts and the University of Vienna in 2005. In recent years, she has pursued further education alongside her teaching career, completing a program at the Prager Fotoschule as well as earning a Master of Arts degree from St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences.

Since childhood, she has been passionate about photography, focusing primarily on people and nature. Her goal is not only to document but also to explore through photography - to move, inspire, and provoke thought in viewers. Photography should serve as a tool for self-reflection, evoke emotions, and drive change, as images have the power to influence perspectives and transform societies.
